Individual Band Accounts (IBA)

Opportunities are provided for individual members to earn money through both Music Department and Music Boosters fundraisers. The earned money is deposited into the students IBA. This account, which is non-interest bearing, may be drawn upon for any band related expense. In order to withdraw money from an account to pay for an expense, a completed IBA Transfer Request is required. This form can be obtained from the Treasurer-Elect or in the band room. It must be signed by a parent/guardian. There never is any cash distributed out of an IBA.

Any money that is left in a senior’s IBA after graduation is available to be ‘willed’ to another Music Department member. However, any ‘willed’ funds must be done in writing and completed prior to graduation. Money not used or willed cannot be refunded and will be transferred to the Booster General Account.
